Expository Preaching
God's word is a firm foundation that every Christian should build their lives on. It is unaffected by the shifting cultural tide and reveals to us both who we are, and who God is. Because of this, we preach the bible on Sunday mornings and strive to make the main point of the text the main point of the sermon.
Christ Centered Worship
Jesus is our only hope in life and death. He has fully paid for all our sins. Because of this we seek to exalt Him in our every aspect of our lives and especially on Sundays through Christ exalting preaching and singing. We avoid music that is focused primarily on stirring up emotion rather than on truth.
Robust Church Life
The local church is more than a place to hear a sermon on Sunday mornings. It is the temple of God, the bride of Christ, the spiritual family of believers, and the demonstration of God's glory to the world. Because of this, we value this community, love each other genuinely, and are often hanging out through the week.
Joyful Courage
We believe in courageously proclaiming the truth of God's word to a lost culture in every area: life begins at conception, God made us male and female, and Christ is the only way of salvation. Yet, in light of all that He has done for us, we proclaim these truths with a Spirit of humility and good cheer.
Campus Ministry
Kansas State University is a vibrant and fruitful mission field that we devote considerable resources to reaching. We believe in reaching the next generation for Christ and seek to do that through our campus ministry called Campus Fellowship.
Raising Godly Families
Strong families are the foundation for strong churches. Therefore we make it a priority to equip members and pastors in building their marriages and families. We encourage married couples to have children and are dedicated to raising them in Christ, with a biblical worldview, looking forward to the day when we send them out to build Christ's kingdom.
Historic Faith
We gladly acknowledge that we stand on the shoulders of Christians that have come before us, that we have received the faith from them, and that we are continuing to build the same church that our forefathers gave their lives up for.
